Never been admitted for mental health problems before so I didn't know what to expect lots of OT groups to go to and we were fed a lot kept an eye on I don't think a lot of the staff were trained enough and some not at all.
Suggested improvements
Making sure each patient has an allocated nurse, nurse buddy and HCA buddy quicker. Take more control of violent situations and be more specified careful with deciding whose in what room etc for safety purpose of all patients with different and problems.

Excellent staff. Particularly Debbie Jodie. Anna. All staff welcoming . No problems on the ward they all work very hard and explain how sectioning works
Some women feel more safe with men rather than women. The use of restraining is appauling. There is no dignity at times and the use of dash cams is used inappropriately.
Suggested improvements
A mixed ward and different age range.
More male then female staff.
Age range 18-65 in my opinion is a large age range. The ward worked well in 2013 when the patients were mixed.

Helpful with my cats, sympathetic to my distress, friendly with art therapy and general communication. Things are improving! Also, we were stressed before, I understand more now!

Getting more support for my hurt leg. We lost a bit of visit time from the Jehovah's Witnesses.

All the staff Day and Night are absolutely incredible on willow ward but could we start a cloning session for all the staff as life on willow ward is going so well for me at the moment even tho a few have man flu but the big girls actually all the staff are very supportive and they have been really supportive of me
I am currently in room 12 xxxxx

There is all ways room for innovation and creativity but it just depends on how you want to achieve your goals xxxxxx
